Accessibility Statement

Mutora is committed to making mutora.app and the Mutora application usable by as many people as possible, including people with disabilities. This statement covers the mutora.app marketing website.

Conformance status

We aim to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA, the internationally recognized standard published by the W3C's Web Accessibility Initiative. We haven't commissioned an independent third-party audit; the status below is a self-assessment against that standard.

What we've done

• Semantic HTML landmarks (header, nav, main, footer) and a heading structure that follows document order.
• A "Skip to main content" link for keyboard and screen-reader users.
• Visible focus indicators on every interactive element (we don't remove browser focus outlines).
• Descriptive alt text on informative images, and aria-hidden on purely decorative icons so screen readers skip them.
• Native <details>/<summary> for the FAQ accordion, so it's keyboard-operable and announced correctly without custom JavaScript.
• A layout that adapts down to small phone screens without horizontal scrolling, and text that respects your browser's zoom and font-size settings.
• Reduced-motion support: animations are disabled if you've set "reduce motion" in your operating system.
• A color palette chosen for sufficient contrast between text and its background in the dark theme the site uses.

Known limitations

We haven't run this site through a full independent audit or assistive-technology testing matrix yet, so there may be issues we haven't found. Known gaps at this time:

• The product screenshots in the "Workspace" section are static images; the surrounding caption describes what's shown, but the images themselves aren't a substitute for using the product.
• Some in-product accessibility work (inside the Mutora application, as opposed to this marketing site) is still in progress, since the application itself is in active beta development.

This site relies on HTML, CSS and WAI-ARIA attributes, and works with JavaScript disabled — nothing on this page requires scripting to be read or navigated.
